APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to hire an Applications Developer that has solid working knowledge of developing automated solutions, both back-end and front-end, in support of classification and compensation systems. The ideal candidate will have experience building and managing data warehouse solutions and building front-end applications/business intelligence platforms in support of current and future projects. We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused developer who is interested in shaping our long-term business intelligence and data analytics roadmap. You will be responsible for creating reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide business insight that aid in decision making. This job requires working with internal consulting staff to understand business requirements and proficiency in application development lifecycle management processes to meet user and client needs. What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Developing dashboards, visualizations and reports, applying data visualization best practices.

Using applicable query languages, such as T-SQL, scripting languages like DAX, Power Query, R or Python to perform meaningful quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Creating relationships between data stored in data warehouse(s) or other data stores and develop data models that support business reporting needs and improves data reporting.

Integrating back-end and front-end solutions for real-time reporting via LCG’s website in support of our client needs.

Working with internal staff to capture data analytic requirements for designing appropriate solutions and reports.

Developing and implementing data warehousing solutions.

Troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware technical issues.

Debugging, tuning and optimizing report performance.

Working with users and team members at all levels for successful delivery of solutions.


The Ideal Candidate will be able to collect, analyze and link data from multiple sources; effectively translate data into informative reports and dashboards; and effectively produce analytical reports and data visualizations.


What You Need to Have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, finance, statistics, or a related technical field and 3 years of proven experience developing/administering data warehouse and front-end business intelligence solutions and reporting. Strong knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications.

CLASSIFICATION/COMPENSATION CONSULTANT

Due to our continued growth, we are looking to hire 2 classification and/or compensation analysts that have a solid working knowledge of public sector organizations. We offer our staff a flexible work schedule (part-time or full-time) and 100% remote work environment that fosters coworker collaboration and teamwork.


What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Analyzing and preparing recommendations related to classification, pay and rewards programs solutions that link closely to client organization’s strategic objectives.

Directly and independently working on a variety of public sector client projects that require follow-up, in-depth analysis, project management and recommendations for creative solutions.

Applying advanced MS Excel and system expertise to manage, analyze, and report on complex classification and compensation data.

Developing compelling market surveys, spreadsheets, and tools to enhance efficiency, work quality, and client value.

Conducting job analyses and determining appropriate FLSA designation.

Evaluating, benchmarking, and market pricing jobs. 

Utilizing PDQs to write job descriptions, ensuring descriptions accurately reflect the type and level of work being performed.

Analyze and forecast the cost of compensation programs.

Preparing reports to explain the results of job analysis and compensation analysis information.

Recommend internal process improvements that may include improving process flow, templates, and overall systems.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Extensive knowledge and demonstrated subject matter expertise in public sector classification and compensation.

Advanced Excel skills, including using complex formulas, regression analysis, data modeling, pivot tables, and macro workbooks.

Working knowledge of public sector job structures (classifications and descriptions) and base pay structures (data acquisition and analysis).

Proven record of consistently delivering quality, timely, accurate and useful work products.

High attention to detail.

Ability to take initiative under minimal direction.

The ability to be resourceful and creative in analyzing, solving and making sound recommendations on complex classification and compensation matters.

Exceptional written, interpersonal and collaboration skills.

A customer-service orientation and “can-do” attitude.

Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.


What You Need to Have:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, or a closely related field and 3 years of professional classification and/or compensation experience in the public sector, either as a consultant or analyst.  Corporate compensation experience may be considered.  Master’s degree and CCP certification strongly preferred.
